About the Coffee Farm:
Rianjagi Farmers formed a Co-operative Society that was registered in 1998.
The farms are surrounded by scenic highlands, South West of Mt. Kenya forest and are situated in an area famed for producing some of the worlds finest coffees. The conditions for coffee growing are near perfect in this region with abundant rainfall throughout the year. The water used at the station for fermenting and washing the coffee is drawn from the nearby rivers and re-circulated for conservation purposes.
