About the Coffee Farm:
This coffee takes it's name from the location of the plot itself, called "El Buho" that in Spanish means "The Owl".
The plot is within La Bolsa coffee farm and was bought by Jorge Vides in 1958. Prior to this the land wasn’t used for coffee production but Jorge has since won a number of awards for coffee production and for services to the region.
There is a school and nursery at the farm, with fully trained, full time teachers. All of the temporary and permanent staff have access to schooling for their children. Accommodation is also provided for permanent and temporary workers.
